After being crushed by Amazon Alexa at CES 2017 Google fired back from all directions with what appeared to be integration of Google Assistant into every conceivable gadget at this year's show. All of the speakers, speakers with displays televisions, and even Kia cars were injected with the intelligence of the assistant. Alexa has also had its fair share of new products supported, but the CES 2018 has made it clear that the battle for voice assistants (and the smart home elsewhere) is just beginning.
