Samsung to Announce Galaxy S9 at Mobile World Congress in February
Samsung is the current king of Android with sales that far exceed the competition. There are also Samsung fans who are waiting for the new Galaxy S phone every year and then jump it as soon as it is available. They may not have to wait much longer this year. Samsung’s mobile leader has confirmed that the Galaxy S9 will appear at the Mobile World Congress in February
Previous rumors indicated a surprise at the unveiling of the Galaxy S9 at CES, which is currently underway. However, Samsung is not at hand with the highly anticipated new Galaxy phone, but with television, smart home appliances and home appliances – many, many devices. The only explicitly mobile news from Samsung at CES has been the announcement of Exynos 9810 ARM SoC, which will likely debut in the international version of the Galaxy S9 (the US version will have an updated Snapdragon chip) )). The Exynos 9810 is an octa-core chip with four low-power Cortex-A55 cores and four custom high-performance cores. It supports gigabit LTE and has a new GPU with 20% more power than the latest generation chip.
Asked about the Galaxy S9, the president of Samsung’s mobile division DJ Koh announced that the phone would be announced Congress late February . MWC takes place in Barcelona, Spain every year, and is one of the most important mobile shows of the year. Several past phones from Samsung have been announced there.
We expect the Galaxy S9 to feature another curved OLED panel with slightly improved specifications. Samsung is leading the way in display technology, so it does not have much to do to stay on top. The S9 should also win the dual network of cameras that debuted on the Galaxy Note 8.
Samsung reportedly worked hard to develop fingerprint readers on the screen for its phones but it is unlikely that the Galaxy S9 Be the first with this feature. Based on the update of the Galaxy A series of low-cost phones, we expect the Galaxy S9 will have a fingerprint sensor repositioned on the back that is below the camera instead of next to him. The location of the sensor on the Galaxy S8 is just stupid.
The Galaxy S9 will reveal a month earlier than the GS8 last year. If the schedule is respected, we should see the launch of the phone about a month after the Mobile World Congress, which runs from February 26 to March 1.
